 Santa!

2011   Community           Christmas Celebration!

 The 7th Annual Community Christmas Celebration was by far, the largest event of its kind hosted by the club!  Close to 500 children and adults attended the program.  12 acts and groups participated, while Santa listened to all the kiddies Christmas wishes in the meeting room at the William Roscoe Anderson Recreation Center.  With an all-volunteer cast of 50 parents and friends, we were able to provide great entertainment and fun for all involved.  Our thanks to the many people who planned and followed through by assisting with this event.  Our "thank you" too for the staff of the center, as well as the City of Winston-Salem Parks & Recreation Department.  Special thanks to the Career Center's Construction Students who had a hand in building the stage.  We look forward to seeing all of you again in 2012!

What Did We Accomplish!

The Next Level Youth Enrichment Program helps children improve their Reading, Math, Physical and Social skills.  We offer FREE tutorial programs, plus with a newly created exercise outlet we can help to keep our students healthy.  Our missions include helping students to graduate from high school, preparing young people for college, and helping to keep them out of the court systems.  SAT and ACT couse studie are also offered.

After school tutorial

       Free Tutorial Assistance

We offer free tutorial assistance for students from kindergarten to middle school during the school year.  This is done at the William Roscoe Anderson Recreation Center, which is located on Reynolds Park Road in Winston-Salem.  (formerly Reynolds Park Recreation Center)

Project Jump Start 2011 saw its largest level of participation to date.  Over 100 students attended.  Our wonderful staff of volunteers helped the students with math, reading and writing skills.  Our Director, Ms. J. Williams stated that a record number of Educators were also involved this year.  Our thanks to all the volunteers and the staff of the William Roscoe Anderson Recreation Center for all the work that was put into the program.  Special thanks to the the Golden State Foods Foundation and the employees of Golden State Foods for their grant, which helped fund the program.  Without all of you involved, this could have never been accomplished!!
