NC United Indoor Track & Field Classic

The 2020 NC United featured over 1,000 age-group athletes from 12 different states! By far, this was one of the largest indoor youth meets hosted in Winston Salem. 7 year old sensation, Taraji Timmons blistered the field while winning both the 60m and 200m Dash races! Newcomer, Andrew Steele placed 2nd in the 60m Dash and Madison Minga-Perry earned a bronze medal in the Long Jump. Sienna Sawyer, Tashaun Timmons, Derrick Reid Jr, and Shannon Johnson Jr,, each advanced to the finals in their competitions. Mariah Perry, Silas Ross and Tashaun Timmons each advanced in 2 different races to the finals, Mariah winning bronze in the 60m Hurdle race as well as earning a spot in the finals of the 60m Dash..

We're proud of the effort from all our athletes! It's going to be an exciting season.

Our sites were firmly set on winning medals during the AAU Junior Olympic Games! Nearly 40 of our members advanced to compete. 12 year olds, Jamon Simes and Aiden Gaddy competed in the Pentathlon. Both finished in the top 20!

The competition on the track was even more intense over the next 6 days of the Olympics. The two 12 year old hurdlers finished best of all our members. Mariah Perry won 5th in the Girls 80m Hurdles. Jamon Simes won 7th in the boys 80m Hurdle finals. Both earned AAU All-American status!!

We proudly congratulatae all our youngsters for their outstanding performances! We hope to see all of them next season as we travel to Norfolk, Va for the 2020 AAU Junior Olympic Games.

Russell E. Blunt East Coast Invitational

They came from 15 different states and 2 countries, yet it wasn't enough to stop the Next Level athletes from excelling! Youth Boys "Most Outstanding Athlete" award winner, Lamar Mills Jr. sprinted to first place finishes in both the 100m and 200m dash races. 12 year old, Jamon Simes (pictured above) continued his dominance in the 80m hurdles. Madison Minga-Perry won the 15 -16 year old girls Long Jump and the 13 -14 year old boys won the 4 x 100m Relay.

PLEASE, always supply your child with plenty of water during practices and meets!

Next Level Cookout!

Yet another great time at the cookout! Coach Gaddy cooked up hundreds of hot dogs, wings sausages, and hamburgers to feed the group of parents and athletes. Great food, and wonderful times. Thank you again Next Level Track Club family!

East Coast Indoor Track & Field Championships

The talented athletes from Next Level left quite an impression during the East Coast Indoor competitions. The Boo Willimas Sportplex fans witnessed 5 year old Taraji Timmons win triple gold as she dominated the sprint events for girls 6 & under. 11 year olds, Mariah Perry and Jamon Simes each won their 55m Hurdle races. They won in record times! Both set new meet records in the events. Jamon went on to win gold in the 11-12 year old boys 55m dash, and he anchored the winning 11-12 boys 4 x 200m relay. He was joined on the team by Derrick Reid Jr, Aiden Gaddy, and Jalial Timmons. 14 year old Madison Minga-Perry picked up a gold, silver and bronze medal, while competing in the 15-16 year old girls 400m dash, Long Jump and 200m dash. Overall, the kids won 20 medals during our final indoor compettion of the season.

AAU NC United Indoor Track Classic

This season's indoor team started with an outstanding performance during the NC United Track & Field Indoor Invitational. The final meet of 2018 turned into a fine showing for the Next Level athletes as they won over 20 medals!

Gaddy Earns 4th AAU Olympic Medal!

9 year old, Aiden Gaddy won his 4th medal of the AAU Junior Olympics, while competeing in Houston, Texas! Aiden, who previously earned 3 medals during he AAU Club Nationals Championships, followed by placing 8th during the AAU Junior Olympic Games! Congratulations Aiden!
